We stayed here two years ago, and loved it then. Nothing has changed and it is still a great RV park. We were on our way home after a three week trip, and planned to stay for one night, but decided to stay an extra night since it is so nice. Showers and rest rooms are spotless, and it is just a nice place to stay.

Great campground with friendly management and campers. Pool area, office area, rest rooms and showers are very clean and well maintained. Many great walks around the marina and waterfront. There are two restaurants in the marina that are in walking distance to the RV area, and we ate at both of them. Food was very acceptable, and view was spectacular, looking out over the marina. Enough room for slides on each side of motorhome, but it was tight. It is about 15-20 minutes to San Diego depending on time of day and where you are going. We visited the USS Midway and it is well worth the visit. Allow at least 4-6 hours for the visit. We shall definitely return to this RV park, probably sooner than later.

This is a great RV park with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. We had an ocean view site and sat outside and watched the sunset almost every day. The management and staff were very friendly and I did not find any of the concerns of previous reviewers. Although we do not have a dog, we ended up taking our daughter's small dog with us, and the management had no problems with this. The areas where pets may relieve themselves is limited, but it is not restrictive or a problem. Check out the Getty Villa which is nearby. We also ate in a few restaurants in the Malibu area, and were very satisfied. This is a beautiful, but expensive area, and if you go here, you should not expect an economy vacation. We loved it here, and will return when in the LA area. Travel time to LA depends on traffic and time of day, but we found it to be 35 - 50 minutes on average. One last point, the ocean view will be at the back of the site, and you need a sewer, electrical and water extension to pull in and enjoy the view out the front windshield.

We stayed here overnight and it is convenient from the Interstate. The downside of that is that there is a good deal of road noise. Although we did not go to the strip, it is not far away. No shuttle, but by car it is probably 5-10 minutes. The landscaping, pool, clubhouse are very nice, but the showers and toilets let them down. They are very old and were very dirty when I used them. It is OK for an overnight stay, but the roadnoise and dirty showers/toilets would keep me away for a longer stay. Small cafe/restaurant in the clubhouse is nice and is good for a quick meal.

Nice small RV park near I-25. Friendly management and staff, and not too much road noise. The sites are close, but enough room to put out slides on both sides of the RV. We would stay here again. If you are interested, there is a Bible study in the meeting room on Tuesday nights.

Good location in Santa Fe to tour the local area. Friendly management and nice wide sites. Showers/toilets very clean. It is on the bus line if you do not have transportation.

Nice KOA near highway, and a great stopover. Friendly management, nice pool, and the rest rooms and showers were spotless. I shall definitely stay here again when in the area.

Good KOA for an onvernight stay. Close to the highway, and there is the obvious noise, but it was quiet enough in the RV. Indoor pool at the La Quinta is open to park residents, and is a nice clean facility. The park also provides a discount at the Denny's next door. Nice level sites, and probably the widest sites we have ever seen. Very clean park. We shall stay here again.

Typical KOA north of Albuquerque and close to I-25. Gravel with good level sites and full hookup. Not too much highway noise, and easy on and off for a one night stay. I will stay here again.

Near the highway, but not very well signposted. I would put this near the bottom of what KOA campgrounds offer, but there are no other campgrounds in the area. Next time I would drive a further or shorter distance to stay somewhere else.

If you do not want to stay in the massive Mesa RV parks and do want a quiet, friendly resort, then Gold Canyon RV and Golf Resort is for you. Spotless campground and facilities with a nice par 3 executive golf course. Lots of activities at the resort which you can take part in or ignore. This is about 90% park models, but within 24 hours, both of our neighbors came over and introduced themselves, and offered help or information if we needed it. Good location to explore western Phoenix. We drove into Phoenix one day, and it took 35 minutes. Mesa is about 10 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants and shops in Mesa. A must visit in the area is the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. Until May 31,2009, the DBG has the Chihuly glass exhibit throughout the park and it is spectacular. Check it out online at www.dbg.org. We would definitely stay here again, and probably for a lot longer.

Great place to stop for an overnight since it is close to I-70. Gas available near exit, and great Mexican restaurant a few doors from the campground. Nice views, friendly staff and easy in and out.

Nice campground near I-15 with level gravel sites and full hookups. Wi-fi worked well. Good base to visit Bryce Canyon, Kolob and Zion National Parks. Also good for overnight stay off I-15. Wal-Mart and other stores about 10 minutes from campground. Friendly staff and helpful if needed.

Great location right next to Lake Powell. We were on the D ring which is the newest area. Nice level concrete pads with full hookups, but no Wi-fi. Great views of the lake. Other areas of park are asphalt, and seem to be fairly level. Most have some view of the lake. Never could get the Wi-fi to work, even when I went outside next to the antenna. About a 10 minute walk to the hotel (resort), where the tour boats leave. The lake is down 100 feet, but they expect it come up 50 feet with the spring runoff.

What a wonderful experience, particularly since it was free with their 5 Free Nights Program. No mention of sales or sales tour, just a great vacation. The park is incredible, just like a five star resort of country club. Even if you cannot get the free nights certificate, you should experience this at least once. There is one main swimming pool near the entrance, and a smaller pool on each of the four corners. We were next to one of the corner pools, and it was great to walk across the road and use the pool and hot tub. At our site, WiFi was sporadic even when I was outside, but I did get it working at the clubhouse. I did walk down a few sites from ours and the WiFi worked fine. Must have been site specific. Still a wonderful experience, and I shall try the other Outdoor Resorts park when I get the chance.

Beautiful RV park at the foot of Glacier National Park. Not your typical KOA. This park is well off the main road, and you feel like you are in the middle of a forest glade. No road noise at all. All the facilities are clean, and the staff are friendly. WiFi worked great. Nice sites with good hook-ups. Red Bus Tours pick up at the campground. We shall return to this campground next time we visit Glacier National Park.

I would rate the Breckenridge/Frisco area as a 10, but Tiger Run is showing its age, and the new owners and management are terrible. Most of the new sites are well kept, large and nicely landscaped, but you do get a lot of road noise. In the older section where the chalets are located, the sites are run down and narrow. In the site I had, I was appalled at the filthy box that contained the fresh water hookup. The electric hookup would not lock, and I was concerned about someone taking my surge protector. The waste receptacle was a rusty metal cover that looked really gross. Although I had reserved a riverfront site months ago, they had none available, and that attitude of the management was "take what we give you or leave." They would not even come to the site to see what I described above. I was charged for a pull-thru but the front part of the pull-thru was wide enough for a car, with a six inch drop off and a tree that prevented even the car from going too far onto the pad. When I told the management that there was no way that this was a pull-thru site, I was told that it is a pull-thru. End of story, no discussion, no rebate. I think the previous reviews must have been done by the site owners who are desperately trying to sell their lots. There are a large number of lots for sale, and it looks like time to bailout before the monthly maintenance fees skyrocket to upgrade the park before it hits rock bottom. We shall not return.

What a beautiful spot on the Rio Grand River in southwest Colorado. You get all the modern facilities at Mountain View, yet you are surrounded by countryside and mountains that are unspoiled by commercial development. Most sights are gravel, but some are dirt, so take a look at the sight before you park. The people who work there are very helpful, and try to accommodate your every request. Take some time to travel around the southwest Colorado countryside, and see what the Rocky Mountains must have looked like 50 years ago. Also be sure to go the the theater in Creede, it is top quality entertainment.

New owners are doing a good job with this campground. It is a great park for children with a play area and outdoor pool. Nice lake to walk around, and fishing ponds for adults and children. No road noise since it is not near the highway. It has nice wide sites and some great views of the close in foothills. Downtown Fort Collins is not too far away, and there are many great restaurants available.

This was our second visit to Heron Lake RV Park, and it is a very quiet, peaceful and relaxing spot. There is a medium size lake on the property, and some fishing areas for adults and children. There is also a great play area for younger children. Nice shaded walking trail around the perimeter of the park. The new owners are very helpful, and we shall visit this park again.

This is a great RV park to base yourself for the Grand Canyon, Williams and Flagstaff. The hosts are wonderful, and offered lots of local information. We had a slight problem getting a rental car, but Pat and Tammara helped to make it possible. You can watch the Grand Canyon Train leave every morning, just as seen on TV in RV Today. The toilets and showers are very clean, and the hospitality of the owners made this a very pleasant stay. We would definitely stay there again.
